I am new to Car-Seat.org and just wanted to say hi! I am a new momma to 6 month old daughter and step mother to 2 wonderful girls! I am a deputy sheriff, CPS Practitioner and car seat enthusiast! I look forward to learning and sharing with you all!

Woooohooo and welcome!!! I work fire, but if I were law enforcement I'd hand out child safety citations all day long! (and fight our current legislation- it's a $250 fine for animal cruelty but only $50 for letting junior bounce down the freeway on the back dash :rolleyes: )

Anyway- welcome aboard!!!

This was mentioned when I took the class. It's $400 to shoot a deer out of season and $25 for carseat fines.

I didn't even know there was a "practitioner" class versus a tech class.

There's a couple of classes like CPS for Healthcare, CPS for childcare workers, etc. I'm assuming it's one of those.
