Question Radian XTSL fabric choices??

I'm all ready to order my radian xtsl, but no local stores carry it so I can't feel the fabric live...I think I'm down to the Bentley (microfiber) vs. Nitro (poly mesh)...we live in the south--hot & humid for a long summer & mild to pretty cold in the winter. Just wondering what those who have the seat think of the different fabrics for both comfort and cleaning.

We have an '08 Odyssey (not that it will impact fabric choice, but I'm also curious if anyone has tried the seat in a similar vehicle)...it is our 1st convertible for our 1st kid...10 mo old...my goal in purchasing this model is to keep him rear facing as long as possible & I haven't seen any other seat that goes to 45lb.

I got a microfiber cover (Flora-really nice) and it feels wonderful, espec for the cold NE winter. It is so soft. I would love to sit on that.

All my convertibles have plush, soft covers and my DDs haven't complained in the summer, but our summer is not like your summer, kwim? I have never used the mesh. Sorry cannot be of more help.

We had a Marathon with the plush Cowmoo cover and we are in Savannah, ga. It did well in the heat for my son. We went with the Ventura cover and, while I love the material, I'm not crazy about the pattern and wish I went with the Bentley instead. We have the Red Rock Frontier and I'm not crazy about the mesh. My son used it for less than 2 months and it fuzzied pretty easily. That is one of the biggest reasons we didn't choose a mesh material for the Radian.

Thanks much for the input...do the microfibers wipe clean easily? I'm definitely leaning towards the Bentley now...
