So I was in Canadian Tire (uh, someone help me explain this store to those in the US...lol), and came across this product
http://www.safety1st.com/can/canfre...ails/2297-48895-Car-Seat-Protector-with-Pouch
Its no thicker than a towel (made of fabric), and is VERY flexible (its all folded up into a 7X8" package (guessing here). IMO I don't think that it would cause a false sense of security to use this when installing a seat on leather. I personally would feel totally ok with recommending this product to parents to use over the other types out there.
Anyone else have personal experience with this? I"m thinking I might pop out tomorrow and go buy one just to play with in the van, just to make sure it gets a good tight install....kwim. But I honestly think its something that would work for those parents who feel they need something.
