replace car seat or not?

i've had two minor car accidents within the last 3 months - the first accident dented the left front, the second one was hit from the back and damaged the park assist and a loosened the bumper. DD was in the car seat for the second accident only. the air bags weren't deployed & i was able to drive the car away... should i change car seats? my insurance will pay for another one. it just seems like a shame to throw away a boulevard if i don't need to. i can't tell if it is damaged or anything is loose. i'm not 100% satisfied with the boulevard, but its a great car seat.
what do you recommend?

Replace it. A child's life is worth throwing away something that might be ok. Generally, I agree with you and try not to throw away something that's still good. But in this case we'll never be able to know. You can get a different seat than the boulevard if there's one you like better. I got into a fender bender last week and am replacing/not using again all 3 unoccupied seats in my vehicle including the 2 backless boosters that were in my trunk.

thanks... i just talked to my insurance and they will reimburse me100% for a new one. you're right. there may not be anything wrong with it, but my baby is priceless....
