I had total carseat nerd moment today! I flew to Seattle to visit my sister to help her with a three across in her Prius. Lol yeah that alone is nerdy enough.
Anyway, we are at the airport waiting in line to check our bags and I see a mom with a Toddler on her back in an Ergo and a Malibu Radian XT on her stroller! I never see those seats in Reno! So I was very excite and pointed out to the girls "hey look it's your carseat!" The mom and I started chatting a bit. She didn't have it folded so I walked her through how to do that. The RF boot was on the seat so I aske how old her little girl was and she said 14 months. I gave her kudos for still being RF (I had mentioned that I am a tech) and she said she had heard she shod keep her RF for 2-3 years so that is what she is doing. Yay!! I am so thilled the word is getting out about ERF. She also wanted to know about the Coccoro I had with me.
I was hoping she would be on my flight but no such luck.
As a side note - the Coccoro is amazing to travel with. I am goig to be sad when DS outgrows it. It installed in seconds and it doesn't touch the seat in front. Amazing. It takes up even less space than a bucket. Now I just want to get the stroller to go with it.
Here are some CCO on a plane pics -
Nm pics coming later. I don't know how to mak them smaller on m iPhone.
