Britax Marathon?

Mother told me that she heard that there are some Britax model
arent safe anymore??? Is that true?
My DD is in a Britax Marathon,
I am willing to get a different carseat
for better safety.

Britaxes, including Marathons, pass all the tests they need to pass. They are certified by Transport Canada (and in the US, NHTSA) and have not been recalled. They are safe to use.

Recent testing by both TC and NHTSA has raised questions. At this point, they are just questions, as again, the seats are certified and not recalled. All the questionable tests were forward-facing. It's always a good idea -- and in Canada, the law -- to top-tether a FFing seat. For the Britax convertibles, I'd say it's an extra-good idea.
