It tells me to not put it in the washer and dryer but can I just put it in the washer on GENTLE CYCLE & then put it in the Dryer on Low heat? (Using Very Little detergent of course)
I can't wait days for it to dry because I need to use it tomorrow afternoon, but I did want to get it washed and dried Since I might be trading it or selling it and it does need a cleaning. :)

Machine washing and drying it voids any warranty, because you are going against manufacturer's directions. If it dies, you're on your own.

I. and others, have machine-washed and line-dried covers with no ill effects.

I wash all of my Marathon covers in the washer in cold/delicate cycle and hang to dry. They always come out fine. I've never dried one in the dryer though. Can you hang it over a register to dry quicker?

Thank you :)
I definitely didn't want to hurt it I'm so accident prone lol, I think I will machine wash cold on gentle cycle and then hang to dry - I'll try hanging it over a vent. ;) "Thanks Morelatte"

you can also NO HEAT air dry for a bit to start the drying process

I did just this ;) We have a fluff air setting on our dryer. I put it in there for 10minutes then layed it over our chair in the living room over top of a vent. :)
Everything looks great so far! I didn't really give it a good going over though, Hoping that it didn't dye any!

My car seat covers all air dry quite quickly. I hand wash, and air dry them all. I would be so upset with myself if my washer decided to try to eat my car seat cover or something. (it has been known to eat some blankets, so I take no risks)

But when Im drying them I grab a few pant hangers and pin it up on a few spots, then place it along my bathroom shower curtain, aim a fan towards it and they dry over night easily.

I have washed my MA and BLVD covers in the washer many times before. I saw no reason at all to not wash my Regent cover. BIG MISTAKE! It shrunk sort of and didn't want to stay on the seat correctly. I had to order a new cover  I did wash the new cover in the tub with a little bit of detergent and hung dry over the bathroom shower doors and it did work. I have no idea why the other covers came out and this one didn't. I used the gentle cycle, cold water, and line dried so who knows.
