Carseat Crankypants
I have never seen a Britax cover that wouldn't wash up nicely. I have an unusable (crashed AND unknown history) Marathon confiscated from a carseat check that I was going to clean up and use as a demo seat. Cover (Colonial Blue) has been through the wash twice and it's still icky. I knew it looked bad when I took it home, but I didn't realize how ground-in the ick was. Time to break out the Oxyclean, I guess!

Considering that you're just planning to use it for demo, I'd bleach that sucker on hot, myself. Then add RIT if necessary. Probably'll just fade, though.
