Because that's what I installed for my SIL and BIL at their shower this month, and that's now how big my brand spanking new nephew is. :) He was born at 11:13 this morning after a half hour of pushing. 20.5 inches long. I didn't ask for a torso length. LOL LOL LOL

Yay!!!

He called last night to update, and I looked up the intellicast labor indicator for fun. They were in a high, but not the highest category for labor. And it was a full moon, or will be tonight. LOL How wild is that? It snowed here today too.

My daughter was 7 lbs 2 oz 19.5" and fit well in her Snugride. Straps were below shoulders and the harness had no slack. That was almost 4 yrs ago- don't know if the newer Snugrides are different.

Congratulations on your new nephew!!!

Congratulations on the new nephew!

I'm sure he's going to fit great in the Snugride! Pacey was 7 lbs. 5.5 oz. (7 lbs. 3 oz. when he came home) and 20.5 in. and fit great...but his was a 3 pt. harness. Joshua was a whopping 6 lbs. 9 oz. (6 lbs. 3 oz. when he came home) and 19 in. and fit great in his 5 pt...barely because he was so tiny, but it was a great fit!

Congratulations!

My 8 pound 7 ounce 20.5 inch baby fit really well in the safeseat1. I would imagine he would have fit great in the snugride too.

My friend's 6 lb baby fit great in the "old" 20 lb Snugride. (But I don't have permission to post the pic, sorry!)

Congratulations! (My 9 lb 4 oz kiddo fit in an older Snugride (circa 2002) just fine. Of course, she outgrew it by four months....)
