I had one and before I sold it my DD (stats in siggy, shes 22 months) still had room rear facing in it...about 1.5 to 2 inches. As far as a height limit, I dont know if I saw one in the manual or not, I was just going by the one inch rule:whistle:

The top of the child's head needs to be below the top of the car seat for rfing as a general rule. A more conservative guideline preferred by most advocates and manufacturers is that there should be an inch of shell above the top of the child's head. As the car seat rotates toward the front of the car, we don't want the child's head to slide up above the top of the car seat and hit anything.

The 1 inch guideline allows enough space that the child should still have head protection as the harness stretches. In addition, some manufactures will adamantly stick to a standing numerical height limit as well. Unfortunately, standing numerical height is a poor criteria for car seat height limits as children are proportioned differently and a child can be below the standing height limit and not have adequate head protection, or above the standing height limit and have plenty.
