2 Radians- 2 different buckles?

NOT the chest clip either. DS has a RNXT I purchased July? or so last year. I just got a new RNXTSL for DD, Manu 11/09. One thing I noticed is that there is a very slight difference w/ the crotch buckle. The newer one actually feels slightly more substantial. After playing with it and the other one, it clicks louder too :p. The chest clip LOOKS the same, but DD's again, feels like there is a just a little more to it.

Am I imagining things?

Mark one with a pencil, mix them up with your eyes closed and see if you can identify them without looking. Do it a few times, who knows.

When they first came out with the SL models, they hinted that 'a new harness and LATCH system' would allow the older models to have higher weight limits. They never did it, but that sounds like maybe the harness is a bit thicker. The Evenflo Generations 65 harness is certainly thicker than the 40, so there's a precedent for that. I like that idea, mark them, feel blindly, see if you can still tell :)

I don't want to uninstall the seats (it's not easy to get them in at 23 weeks pregnant) but just by FEEL, there is something different. I can't tell WHAT is different though LOL!
