need 5 pt harness seats for 40", under 30lb toddlers

I am in search of two carseats for our 3 year old twins, both are rapidly approaching the 40" limit on our Roundabouts and are under 30lbs. I want to keep them in 5 point harnesses as long as possible. The seats are going into a 2005 Odessy.

Can you give us more info about the children?Height, weight ,torso measurements.To meausure the torso measure the child sitting on the floor from their bottom to the top of their shoulders.

They only outgrow the Roundabouts when the midpoint of their ears is above the top of the shell, their shoulders are over the top harness slots, or they exceed the weight limit. The standing height limit is a guideline only, not set in stone.
Are they rear facing or forward facing?

At under 30 pounds, I'd get them Britax Marathons and keep then rear-facing until they reach 33 pounds.

The Marathon will keep then harnessed forward-facing until they are at least 5, but probably based on their current size, to age 6.

I would not switch under-30-pounders to extended harnessing options like the Britax Regent yet.

I have an '05 Odyssey and two Marathons. They both fit well Rear-facing in the Odyssey. If you would like to see some photos let me know. I personal recommendation would be the Britax Marathon, but there are other seats that would work as well. Do you have a budget?
