Snuggie knock-off and booster.. Pics..

Johnathon has been BEGGING for a Snuggie. I realized it would be perfect for car seat use so I went on a hunt. 5BELOW had knock-off Snuggies for $5. I got 2.
Johnathon used his immediately and loves it. It will be great for a safe car blanket.

Seth was sleeping so I don't have pics of him with his yet, but I will share them when I get them.

There was a commercial on cartoon network a few weeks ago I have been meaning to post. It was the for the original snuggie and it states how they are ideal for car seats and booster seats! I was so happy I about jumped on the couch! Not only are they hitting the right audience (kids eat up the snuggie adds) but they are correct that they are thinner and help the seat belt fit properly and keeps the kids warm!

I was just shocked one of the scenes has a kid in a bulky coat in a booster seat and shows the seat belt bunched up and an angry looking child. The next scene shows a child in a booster seat with the snuggie and the seat belt positioned correctly with the child smiling. Then it says "great for younger siblings too" and shows a baby in a 5-pt harness seat snugly hooked in with the straps at the correct height and the chest clip where it should be!

I :love: the snuggie people for this commercial! I hope parents listen up and get their kids one for in their car seats. Most of the snuggies are nice thin fleece so perfect for car seats!

My Aunt (who rolls her eyes at my car seat craziness) got the boys snuggies for Christmas to use with their carseats! She remembers how cold they were this summer when we were travelling and they would get out of the 55* water into the hail and then into the car...don't ask.
