finding clek oobr hard to install, anyone?

Hi, I just got a Julius oobr for my son, but I found it very hard to install in my car.
I could'n't move it an inch with all my strength, and my husband had to push it hard at the point of fearing to break the car seat so it can be against the vehicle seat back
So basically we can't use the recline function. (it just doesn't slide forward. seemed pretty easy on the manual..)

and the seat back is not stable when installed upright. Is this meant to be like this?

I am so confused..before purchasing this car seat, the reviews said it's easy to install.
not the case here..

What car do you drive, and what position (behind the driver, middle, etc.)?

Did you pull on the recline handle and push it (slide it) back at the same time? It was a bit tricky, but I got it on the second try....And also, the seat back of the booster is supposed to move- I actually found that info on clek's website because I had the same concern. here is the link to the FAQ's there:

Wendy, We first installed it behind the driver's seat in my husband's car, and that is a Sienna, and then we installed it in my car, which is a Lexus RX350, and behind the front passenger's seat.

First I was wondering if the design of the vehicle seat base mattered as my husband's vehicle seat seemed to be flatter than mine. But he said it was also not easy to install the car seat in his car..

My son is 6 years old and weighs 44 pounds.
I also couldn't recline the seat when he was not sitting in it.

Thanks for the link. It gives me peace of mind now.
My husband refused to try to remove and install again. He said he would probably break it.
It's difficult to remove, too.

Maybe I should call their customer service to have this figured out..
