Fraying of Adjuster Strap - Boulevard

Has this happened to anyone else? I need to go out to my car later and pull the info off the seat so I can call Britax.

I've been having some issues getting the harness tight enough and dh turns to me on Saturday when he was putting Ben in his seat and says.... will ya look at this!

The strap is frayed on the left side about 3-4" down from the end. It isn't too bad yet...about 3" or so in length but only about 1/4" wide.

The seat is just a few months old (August)...I'm hoping this isn't normal for a Boulevard.

It's very normal for that kind of adjuster (unfortunately). They tell you not to pull it to the side (just straight up or down or out) and they should send you a new one for free since the seat is so new. It's easy to replace :)

Great... I wonder if I can get them to send me two or three?

That way if it happens again and I'm out of warranty I will have more on hand.

Our other Britax seats are an Advantage and a Husky... which both have buttons, not the lever... so I haven't run into this before.

I've never seen a Husky that didn't have the exact same adjuster as a Marathon/Boulevard? The Super Elite had more of a buttony lever, but those are all recalled (I got a new Husky out of it, yay)

I could be remembering it wrong (despite using it every day w/ Bethany)... My brain assumed it because the Husky's adjuster is WAY easier to tighten than the Boulevard's... so in trying to remember I just assumed that it must be similar to the Advantage. Hmm.. but I haven't tightened our Advantage in close to 3yrs. Ben is in it now but it in dh's car.
