Recaro seat??

I found this seat on Craigslist, and am thinking I need it for Jaylee....i emailed to ask if it's a como or signo. Do you think I need it??? :D :D How tall is the harness??
Duh, I forgot the link! I emailed them to ask if it was a Como or Signo, and if they had the manual too, it's only a few minutes from my sister's house!

She emailed back it's a Como, but has a Nov. 06 DOM, but she will take $60 for it.....has never been used, still has manual.

They have tall harness slots - I don't remember exactly, mine is out on loan to a girlfriend's 3 1/2 year old son. I think 18 inches?

Carseat Crankypants
Taller than the TF, but much narrower (inside, not outside) and high on a base. However, it's really a bad idea to buy a seat from Craiglist, or from anyone whom you wouldn't trust with your child's life.

yeah that....I just went and found some old pics - if you thinking about a Recaro - the Como's top slots are 18 inches, compaired to the TF's of around 16.5-17 inches.

I will find out all about it before I decide. It says it's new, never been used (and doesn't look to be). They definetely aren't out to make $$ on it....I asked for a DOM to make sure it's not in the recall too.

It's a Como and they go to 19", but they are SQUISHED on the inside with no leg room. And I wouldn't buy a seat off of CL that I actually intended to use in the car.

Here's 32 pound five year old narrow shouldered Piper in a Como.

You can see how she was out of leg support and nearly out of shoulder room, but still had so much time in the harness and weight departments.

It also sits VERY high in the car, and a lot of people have complained about getting their child into it.
