I'm pretty much up to date with the laws (dealing with car seat safety and all that) in Nevada-where I (and my SIL) live. I just recently discovered that my SIL has her 3 year old in a booster seat (he is about 1/2 an inch shorter then DS and around 27 lbs). The NV law for starting to use a booster seat is 4 yrs and 40 lbs, I'm not 100% sure she knows that because when her oldest son was in a booster the law was 3 yrs old (her oldest son is 9 years old now). I'm really worried about my nephew being in a booster and my SIL doesn't want to listen to what I have to say (basically saying "He is my son, I can do what I want" type of thing).
What should I do? I shared videos with her about the benifits of Extended Harnessing and how a child who isn't ready for a booster seat can get seriously injured, but she just ignores it:thumbsdown:.
