I have been watching the new Simpsons episodes and noticing several changes to make them more modern.....cell phones, XM radio, current celebrities, etc.

Well last night I was watching it, and I had to notice their newest change........
Maggie in a carseat! She has always rode on Marge's lap or if she's driving in the passenger seat next to her. But this time she was in the middle of the back in a carseat! Lisa was in a lap/shoulder belt, and Bart was in a...shoulder only belt

I just couldn't help but notice!

Maggie has always been in some sort of car seat. That isn't new. She doesn't *always* ride in it, but she's always had it.. It's gone from a FF 3-point seat, to a OHS seat, to a lap only seat, depending on the episode, or maybe the season. I've never payed attention to that part of it..... hmmm.

Lisa and Bart in a seatbelt is new.

I watched it two nights ago and she was in a 4 point seat, Lisa was in a lap/shoulder belt, and Bart didn't appear to be buckled.

I remember that MAggie was in a carseat with a fake steering wheel in the credits of the show, but I don't remember what type it was... hmmm....

That's great that they are showing the older kids in seatbelts, though.

I think maggie has always been in a seat than like and X across her. At least that is what i saw I didnt notice the others though

Maggie's pretty much always in a seat of some sort. Bart & Lisa, not so much.

Remember the one where Maggie is ejected in her "Krap-E-Latch" seat?

LOL! I know I shouldn't laugh because ejection from a seat is NOT funny, but the "Krap-E-Latch" thing is pretty funny.
