Pic of Laila's fit in a Recaro Vivo

I had Laila's Nautilus out of the car cleaning it up today and had to go pick her up, so I put the Vivo in for her. She usually rides in it in hubby's truck, and you know, I don't think I've even tried it in my car (Pacifica)....Anyway, here's a picture of how it fits her
She will be 5 on Jan. 10th, is around 45 lbs, and don't know her exact height, but she's leggy. She is one click up from the bottom spot...

and Jaylee wanted me to take a picture of her too, but wouldn't put her popcorn down :)

that's how Ruthie fits... though she uses it one more click up now (very recent move today... noticed the other one was too close to her shoulder, even though on christmas, I thought the third position looked too tall and moved it down from there)... but yes, Laila's legs are very noticeably longer than hers... I know she was complaining about it in your other thread... I think a footstool would help... Jeffrey is not leggy at all, would use the top position, and his feet would rest flat on the floor, so I bet when she gets to the upper settings, she'll be doing that... just much sooner than the top setting.

Looks great! I really love the Vivo. DD is 6 and only rides in it on occasion in our sedan, but when she does, boy is it a great fit! She sleeps wonderfully in it too! I was considering a Monterey for my car when we stop harnessing but more and more, I think I may just get another Vivo.

We've had it for a back-up seat for DH's truck since this summer. I got it from JCP.com and it was around $50 on sale (might have been $59.99). It did have an older DOM (late 07) but was a good price and I liked the deep headwings. She sleeps wonderfully in it :) She also has a turbobooster for occasional use in my mom's car, and doesn't sleep well in it, she slumps to the side :( She calls it her race-car seat (DH drives a race car and it looks like his seat). I posted a thread just last week that she was complaining of her back/butt hurting after a long drive, and was told it could be because of lack of leg support, so I'm gonna get her something to rest her LONG legs on!

We have a vivo waiting in the closet for DS2 to use when we're ready to switch to full time use. I'm not sure how he'll do with the head wings though. We had him use the parkway (old style) a couple of times over the summer and he got car sick. The couple times he's used the turbo he's been fine. So I'm wondering if he was getting sick because of the deep head wings. The parkway is now in MIL car for the 5 minute trip he takes with her once a week.

I'd just make sure to sit him where, looking forward, he can see out the car... so his brain knows he's moving.
