so what do you do to "booster seat train"? i have a 4 1/2 year old freak tall boy who is about grown out of our como. we also have a recaro young sport that i can use as a booster (and he seems to fit very well in it as a booster).
it sounds like (from reading the board here) that it would be better to slowly get him used to the booster before he outgrows the como and needs one full time? would i just use it on occassion? do i lock the seatbelt while he gets used to it? he's really good about following rules, so i am hoping he will do well in a booster. he still sleeps in the car some but i think he could sleep in te young sport even in booster mode. it's a pretty supportive seat.

Short trips here and there with no other distractions in the car (siblings, radio, dvds etc). Remind him carefully of the rules and take short trips, verbally reiterating the good stuff he's doing (sitting still, staying upright, minding the belt.) Immediately correct leaning, slouching or bending over.
