Re: Mazda5 Review
A question about the Mazda 5 - DH and I are in the market for a new car - before the end of this month.
We have an almost 2.5 year old RFing in his Marathon (he's probably about 24 pounds, so a lot of RFing time left) and will also have a newborn in April - obviously in a RFing carseat. How do you get to the third row with two carseats in the second row? We don't anticipate needing the third row very often (and it seems like there is no storage space if you are using the third row) - but I'd like to be able to get to it on the rare (or not so rare) occasions we need to do so. Seems like you couldn't push the seats up to get back there with two carseats.
Since we won't need the third row too often, I think I'd like to keep both DC in the second row - though I can imagine times I might want to put DS in the third row if I wanted to be able to sit next to a newborn.
Thoughts? Experiences?
Also, sort of related - I'm sure it's here elsewhere on this site - but does anyone have links to the latest research on how long to RF? We're getting a lot of questions about when DS will be turned. I used to think 3, but am leaning towards 4 now. I don't have a problem with ERF, but I just can't see doing that with a 5 year old (maybe I'll change my mind by then?)
Thanks for any/all help!
