Got to try out the Safeguard for real

So I've got all these carseats sitting in our foyer. A neighbor/friend calls yesterday and says that she needs a ride to pick up their car but that their carseat is in the car that's in the shop. Could I give them a ride and do I have a spare seat for her 3-yr-old DS? :D Spare seat? Me? :D So I ran out and installed the Safeguard b/c it's so easy to install with the LATCH and would be easy to adjust the harness height for her child when they showed up (it was so easy to do that!). Only problem is I had to move Nolan's MA out of the center b/c I couldn't fit the Safeguard and the MA next to each other in my Outback. (The reason is that the angle of the window prevented the back of the Safeguard from fitting - odd.)

I had two - no, three - thoughts about the whole thing:

1) the Safeguard is a really nice seat!
2) sure is handy to have an extra seat around - maybe I'll buy a reasonably priced one just for that purpose - he he!
3) I really need to send these seats back - I started thinking of someone buying a seat that I actually used and felt bad. :( Even though it was just once, I didn't feel right about it...

Yeah, you probably shouldn't have used it, per se. God forbid that 3 yr old had a pee-pee accident in the seat-you'd surely get to keep it! ;) I hope you didn't take any tags off...someone once couldn't return a Britax seat w/out the tags attached- they said it had been used. I forget the retailer.

I know... If I had thought about it, I would have used the Regent that has cuts on the covers (from FedEx) and I'm just waiting for them to give me the go-ahead to send it back. That would've made more sense.
