The Ferno pedi-mate

We were playing with the ambulance tonight, so I got a chance to play with this!

Note the nifty chest clip!

Interesting. What's the height/weight range? It looks kind of enormous on thr gurney, but maybe I don't have very good perspective. You'll have to get a model for us.

I didn't get time in measure. Dang. The other firefighters thought I was NUTS! Gabe looked for our bag-o-babies in the trunk, and they were not there.

I believe the min weight is 10lbs...or maybe 12?

We had that on the last department I was on. It fit teeny babies and bigger kids perfectly. It was very adjustable adn I don't remember ever having a problem with fit. I really liked it. We had that and a regular car seat though. Some places only have this and you run into the problem if mom is a patient and needs the cot, where does the child go, so we always had both

Charlie has been in one. It fit well, but they stuck blankets in between her and the harness and I was too stressed to argue. The harness goes pretty small.

The rear facing seat on the ambulance has a 5 point harness in it also.
