edit: anyone know if the BBII has more padding in the shoulder straps than a beco 4th gen?

Wow, that's a great price! If only I loved it.

Crystal...I had one in my possession for a while and I seem to remember the BBII's shoulder pads being slightly thicker than the 4th Gen.

Sweet. I just ordered one. So hopefully it works out, if not, it's got great resale value so it's a win win.

Why did I open this? Oh I know, b/c I didn't think the deal was going to be that good. Well, now I have one on the way Does anyone if this is good for an older baby. Like say, and 11 month 24lb baby....please someone say yes

I use the 4th gen I have for Odin on occasion in a back carry. He's 22 months and 30 lbs.

I carry my 22-23lb 21mo on my back in a Butterfly1 all the time. She always naps there when we go grocery shopping.

I wouldn't have been able to resist getting another one if they had still had the blue patterned one. I already have Carnival (gorgeous!) and black just isn't fun enough to make me pull the trigger, yk?

OMG I am so excited!!! I have wanted this carrier for so long, I just ordered the carnival!! I should have gone to bed, but I knew there was a reason I just logged on here before

Now I just hope DD loves to be back carried

So I received this today and it's missing pieces! No infant insert, no dvd, no instructions. I called but I'm a little confused.

I got mine today too. I am missing the DVD and booklet for sure, I don't know if I'm missing the infant insert or not without the booklet to tell me what it looks like

I know the hood was there. I took it off. Is the infant insert just a piece of fabric that velcro and clips to the inside?

I called mamabargains, they said they would contact beco and send me an email, but I didn't get an email yet.

The carnival is beautiful though!!!

I called too but haven't gotten a call back. I know we bought it cheap, but if I would have known parts would be missing then I wouldn't have purchased it, ya know?

Yes the infant insert has a set of clips that clips onto the top where the extra clip is and curls under baby and velcros inside the flap.

I the carnival. It's one of my favorites even though it's so popular.

Yes, the insert is just that - small piece with velcro. When I bought mine new it was attached.

OK, then yeah I have the infant insert and hood, just not the DVD or booklet.

I really want to try DD in it though, it seems pretty self explanatory to me. Do you think I can just try it without reading the booklet?

I just want to play with my new toy!!!

Thanks for the link .

We tried it anyway, I did it my own way though. My kids are older so it was easier.

DD was giggling, If I stopped walking she kept kicking my sides with her heels like I was a pony as if she were saying "giddy up!"

Then of course DS had to have a turn! He thought it was pretty cool to have a seat on my back! Now I really do wish I had ordered 2 like was my impulse. Guess I'll keep looking for a used one here...

Got mine this morning. No infant insert, and no booklet and DVD Has anyone heard back from them? I'm getting ready to e-mail them now.
