This all started with this thread:

I really thought that there was no way to seat would fit in the center. There are plastic, I guess hinges? That are on each side of the center seating position, plus the latch and seat belt are offset. It gave a small space to work with.

Gabe and I started with the normal radian install. One push on seat, the other pull straight out from the shoulder belt side. Then we added twisting the belt stalk once. We tried a few times and could not get it.

*DISCLAIMER*

This is NOT an install for one person. You need two, PLUS one needs to have knowledge of the radian.

*END DISCLAIMER*

Make sure radian is between belt stalk and hinge. Pull seat belt out, through the belt path, and buckle.

So, while one person kneels in the seat, the other pulls like this:

Pull all slack out and feed into the retractor.

Have person stay on the radian, and push hard.

Buckle person now unbuckles, feeds another click, and re buckles.

Final result, success!

If anyone ever deserved that bow it's you! So I just realized that I'm going to have to teach DS to be my assistant in installing this seat since he's usually the only other person I'm with .

:ROTFLMAO:

Well I figure that if he can change his own diaper (yes they have him do this at school , the kid should really be using the potty) he should be able to install his own car seat LOL!

Ok, Brightredmtn is awesome. She tried with latch. She put the foot straddling the hinge, and she said it worked!
