cracked buckle on Nautilus

B's Nauti in her dad's car has a buckle tong that is cracked. The piece hasn't broken off, and seems to be staying the same size.

What should I do with the seat? Should I switch seats so this one isn't being used?

If I call Graco will they send me a new one? Has anyone else had this issue?

I can't say for sure what Graco would do, but you should call them ASAP. I would guess they would send you a new buckle/harness, if not a new seat. If it's cracked its stressed and I would ABSOLUTELY NOT trust it to protect my child in an impact. For curiosity's sake, are you able to post a pic of it here?

I've heard of this before with the Nautilus. The crack is in the plastic cover over the metal buckle tongue, right? And there is metal that goes all the way around the harness? It should be okay, safety-wise, to continue using in the meantime, but definitely contact Graco.

I would call Graco to see what they can do (if anything). I personally wouldn't use it (better safe then sorry, right?)

I can take a picture to post, but not until Monday. Should I call them to see if I can stop by and trade seats till we figure the crack out? (I have plenty of spare seats... :whistle:)
