Jetta 2010 - 3 across?

I've searched the 3 across thread and the Radian successful install thread without luck.
All the Jettas are 2003 or 04 and older.

I'm planning to take the 3 kids on a little road trip next Sunday and thought if it would work we'd take the Jetta since the Radian doesn't work ff in our Tribute.

I thought I could use the Radian ff for Brett, Hannah could use the FPSV booster and Matthew could rf in the Avenue. Or he could ff in the Cargo if it's significantly narrower. I'd prefer rf him. I don't have the other Radian right now.

Does anyone have thoughts on position or if this would work at all?

I've had two Radians and a big Britax (all same direction) in our 2004 A4. The A4 is the same size as the Passat, but the Jettas have been getting bigger over the years, so I wonder if the inside dimensions are about the same now. But I could get three Radians easily (any directions) or two Radians and a big Britax across our A4.

HTH!

I think this depends on the Jetta's actual model year. If it's the new model, you're probably ok, since that had a nice, wider back seat. If it's an '03 or '04 though, you might have issues getting 3 across. I have an '04 Passat, and 3-across is a tight fit even with the Radian. GL!

Thanks for the input. The Jetta is a 2010. I can't find any hip room info online for a 2010 or an older model. Only shoulder and leg room are listed. Well, we'll give it a shot. I didn't want to drag a Radian out there if anyone already knows it won't fit! It's too cold to mess around alot, imo. I'm kind of wimpy about the cold, though.
