I FINALLY got my new myride today. it came via UPS.

but this is what the box looked like

and there are stress marks on the base.....
been dropped hard enough to cause stress marks???

does it need to be returned? or okay to use?

top of the box (it has been carried by the tape instead of the box)

That I can't really help so much with. The one time I ordered a seat that came about that way. I called everywhere, UPS, BRU, and manufacture. Maybe someone else has better advice though.

Yeah.. cos i feel like its not BRU or Graco's fault that the shipping was horrible but UPS isnt going to offer me a replacement ya know?

well i called BRU's customer service... they were nice and said to just take it to a local store and they will do store credit or exchange it.

so maybe i'll be doing that tonight :p

this is kinda frustrating. i know that when you order a seat online that there is a risk that it will be tossed around like a rag doll but when you wait 10 days for something and then you have to go do some foot work too...well..... thats pretty annoying :p

i just really dont want to play around with my daughters safety since there's evidence already of some rough handling.

did you buy another Myride? you have to tell us what you have NOW!

LOL

well i went in with full intentions of just getting another myride off the shelf but then i started thinking... ohh my lil brain likes to think.

i wanted to hold out a lil longer and make up my mind.
im on the fence with RF again vs just buying another nautilus.

my reasons are... my DD is a slightly chunky lil thing. she gained another 1lb in just six weeks and it worries me that i might be investing in a seat just for the purpose to RF another 4lbs at this point.

she is small so she could be harnessed FF for a long while in the myride.

but i think i like the nautilus more as a FF seat.

BUT DH and I are TTC and then i thought if i bought the myride i could use that from birth +

see how my brain makes me think? lol

hmmm... good debate going on internally... I think I'm going to vote for either getting another Nautilus (I know not everyone would agree, but at age 3 and only having 4lbs left in the Myride, I would... I don't like the Myride for ff use) OR a Radian SL (65/80/XT... whichever)... and get her another 5lbs in RF(total of 9lbs) with taller top slots to get her to booster age.

i've thought about getting a radian but i've heard its hard to install in my car (98 mercury tracer aka ford escort) so i need to try one out locally first.
