Question Replace Graco after minor accident?

Is Graco one of the brands that MUST be replaced after an accident? I can't remember. It's been too long since I owned one.

The accident is described as:

The accident was really just kind of like a big jolt and the car didn't lurch and hit the roadside wall or anything else.

At this time I don't know about airbag deployment. Still waiting on her to get back to me. I figure her insurance will end up paying for a new carseat regardless, but I just wanted a clear answer for now and future reference. Thanks!

Graco must be replaced after any accident.

Graco's manual says to replace after a accident - I believe Britax is the only one that states otherwise.

There are several manufacturers that follow NHTSA guidelines. Britax is the only mainstream popular brand that does.

I thought First Years followed NHTSA guidelines? SKJP sometimes does if you call them. Ugh. Their manuals state otherwise.

My rule of thumb is replace any seat that doesn't follow NHTSA guidelines if there is any damage to the vehicle. We went through this last year and it took some wise comments from other techs here to help me.

Sunshine Kids for the Monterey (Radian is replace after any accident)
Combi (Cocorro, Zeus Turn, Zeus 360)

I think there's more, but that's all I'm coming up with at the moment.
The First Years TrueFit manual indicates to replace after any crash.
