in the $150-200 range that will take alot of walking around town on sidewalks.

My friend is pregnant (same as me :)) and is due in May and LOVES to walk around town

Doesn't have to be compatable with infant seat but would have to have a flat recline

What stroller would you recommend in that price range.

Her mom wants to buy it for it, but is basically order it for me and she will pay for it.

Thanks

Re: Recomend a Cdn Stroller

Honestly, I don't know what you could get other than a travel system type stroller that would lay flat or take a bucket seat for that little money. Maybe something second-hand?

Just looking quickly at the Canadian BRU site, in that price range (that can be used from birth) are the Graco Quattro, Evenflo Aura, & Chicco Liteway. There are also the Quinny Zap & the Maxi Cosi Perle which both take the Mico bucket seat.

Re: Recomend a Cdn Stroller

If you don't mind to shell out an extra $75 on your budget , and can wait for 3 weeks for shipping
I just purchase baby jogger city mini from country moose kids
with a coupon.
after duty , brokerage, GST , USD to CAD conversion. I pay $275 all in all. $100 cheaper than local store.

PLUS:
it has the easiest fold in the entire universe, 17 lbs, and recline flats (suitable for newborn according to the manufacture)

DOWNSIDE:
storage basket is in the smaller class (still sufficient in my opinion)
not for jogging despite the name
does not come with child tray and rain cover and parent tray

tips if you decide to purcahse from country moose kids, ask if they are willing to ship using USPS.. than you can save brokerage fee , which is $30 .. so $275 - $30 = $245

Re: Recomend a Cdn Stroller

I am looking at the exact same stroller from Country Moose kids. Tried the stroller out at a local store and it was $345 plus tax. It was awesome, so easy to push, so easy to fold, and much cheaper from country moose kids. We have to buy all of the accessories so it will be more, but from them the accessories are cheaper too. Basket is too small but 2010 is supposed to be bigger.
