DD3 is needs the second set of slots, so we can't use the infant insert. However, she really needs the extra support.

Is it just hit or miss with the 2 slot inserts? Or is there a certain pattern that has them?

They're redesigning the covers so my guess is that only the newest DOMs will have the 2-slot version

Ah. Makes sense. My DOM is Sept 09.

I suppose I could just put it away for a bit and use it when she's a bit older. But that's no fun!

It's not as cute as the insert.

I think what I'm going to do is put DD2 RF in it and give DD3 the MA. DD2 claimed it as her own as soon as she saw the cupholders. She exclaimed "Mama! Look, I can bring all my stuffs in the car ride now!"

If you can sew a little, is there any reason you couldn't make your own second set of slots in the insert? (CPST's??) Seems like safety wise it'd be no different than using it on the 1st slot, or than using the newer ones?
Just cut through where it matches up w/ the second slots on the cover, and then sew the edges.....kinda like making a giant buttonhole.
