Impressive. I'd seen it as being in store Dec 15 in a newsletter, always nice when things go according to plan. :)

It will be nice to have a 3in1 that I can point people towards as making a decent booster with some kids when they have their heart set on a 3in1. Of course if it actually has a 30lb rf'ing limit, it will be a bit disappointing... seeing as they raised the weight limit to 65lbs for Canada though, I'm hoping that means there's hope of an increased rf'ing limit...

That would be sad if it only had a 30 lb rear-facing limit. I was just very surprised to see it, cause I thought it just came out in the US a little while ago. I guess that's why the Symphony took so long to get to Canada, cause they decided to test to 65 lbs right away.

I think so too. It was supposed to come in July originally with a 40lb limit, and that kept getting bumped back and bumped back... then it disappeared from the website, and when it came back it had the 65lb limit on it. Makes sense to just test it to 65lbs from the get-go for Canada rather than having 6 months or a year of old seats, and then having to clear out the old stock and complete the testing on the 65lb seat.

I emailed Evenflo late Friday night asking about the rf'ing limit on the Triumph and whether or not we can expect the Serenade in Canada in the near future. We never did have the Discovery here, but the Embrace is due to be replaced by a newer model in my books, so here's to hoping.

Maybe there's hope, given that last year they did give me similiar reasons for RF & FF on why the Cdn EFTA weight limits were lower than the US ones (http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=36527) But I'm not holding my breath!
