Bobux are the ones they sell in England and believe they may have been out longer. If they make the Target ones then I guess that explains why they are such great quality. I have purchased the Target soft shoes several times for friends and I also worked in a boutique that sold Robeez...there is no difference as far as I can tell. I think the Target ones are $12.99...we sold the Robeez for $28-32 so go for the Target version!

I've bought from the seller shoeszoo on ebay before, and they were awesome quality. I liked them more than the Target ones.

:yeahthat:

I LOVED Shoeszoo for DD.

Also, check if you have a Ross/Marshall's/TJ Maxx. Lately ours are carrying discontinued Robeez and their Minishoez for like $13 and $15!

I love babies beyond borders brand. www.babiesbeyondborders.com

The lady that runs it is awesome and very very friendly. I've done 3 huge orders of shoes for people around here and they were very quick shipping. I've seen many of the styles and they are all of VERY good quality. Plus they come in sizes that still fit my 8 and 10 year old girls as house shoes.

DS has a real pair of robeez and a pair from Target, the little brown boots by Ministar (that is designed by Bobux). I can't really tell the difference and actually was disapointed in his robeez because the leather on the edges where it is sewn looks very rough now and considering he only wore them for about four months and never walked in them I'm not that impressed.

Since Robeez stopped production in Canada and outsourced to China, I've seen a big difference in both the quality of the leather and the workmanship. A friend is a Robeez retailer and she's had many pairs of the new MIC shoes returned to her because they fell apart prematurely. She has also received several pairs from the factory that were horribly misshappen. Robeez won't take them back from her, either. It's sad, they were a great company. DD#2 had a couple dozen pairs of the originals and I loved them. We bought ShoesZoo when DS came along, and I really liked them, too.

shoeszoo has always been AWESOME for us, over 5 years of buying kids shoes, and you can get them in larger sizes also. The target are also fine, as are a number of other brands. Heck, right now there are a number of name-brand robeez on sale for 12-15.
We love shoeszoo.

The target ones never fit my dd right (we tried at two totally different point in time, so it was with two different sizes). We tried some others too and they never fit right or would not stay on.

The Robeez were the only ones that fit her right an actually stayed on. The elastic in the back was tighter.

We also liked the jack and lily soft shoes.

The one thing that I don't like about the knock-offs that you find in stores (like at target) is that they only go to up 12-18 or 18-24. My 3y/o DS still wear 18-24, but he loves his robeez and will need a pair in 2-3 years soon, which only gives us the option of the robeez shoes if I want to buy them IRL. I wish more people would get the hint that bigger kids like them too.
