This is a PSA about a check tomorrow, in an area where there are not a lot of checks! The Petersen Automotive Museum is having their annual CARnival Family Fun Day tomorrow (lots of games and activities for kids, kids are free, adults half price admission) and have partnered with Kids Are 1st, an organization I work with, to provide a free seat check as well. (Admission to the museum is not required to attend the seat check, which will be in the parking structure.) I will be there, as will another member (whose SN I'm not posting in case she doesn't want it publicly known) doing seat checks; there will also be 2 officers from the CHP helping out with the check. It's a great opportunity for a convenient, free check in an area where check events are not so frequent! Feel free to send this information to anyone you know who might be interested. We have appointments already but drive-ups are also welcome.
