Very cool. Really, very cool  Can you even get less than an inch of movement with that 'belt path'? Did they even care about that in the days of ELRS?

It actually got really tight both RF and FF.

And may I say that I've VERY jealous that yours is in nicer shape than mine ever was (garage sale treasure before I knew better).

Nice Monte Carlo? too!

I'd love to see some more rear-facing.

And the OUTSIDE of the cars, too.

I'm not a car person at all, but it adds to the ambience.

You have other RF seats, though, don't you? Surely you don't have anything else to do. :p

(I didn't really mean right now...just in general.)

Oh, I remember that seat well. My sister had the tan one. I still have the knot on my middle finger from reclining it while my neice was sitting in it. She's 24 now!

I was born in 85... I have seen pictures of my younger brother and sis in seats but not me. They were born in 88 and 89 and had a Fisher Price seat with a plastic T-shield. We then took it to England and passed it onto my little cousin who is now 16. They thought it was so cool having this American seat for Miriam. It was a good few years old when she got it- I guess expiration dates may or may not have been in effect. If they were- my mom was in her early 20's and didn't pay attention- huge possibility. I have some pics of my now 21 yr old sister in a booster and my now 20 yr old brother in a carrier. I'll post them in another thread...you can all have fun naming the seats!

I sent my Mom one of those pictures, asking her if that was my seat(I was born in '85). She replied that it was very similar. The only difference was that mine was red and navy blue. Any idea what that could've been?

I had the 5-point version of a seat like that... I can feel the flesh feeling like it's ripping off in summertime just looking at it.

However, now I see how it installed rf (before, I could never picture it, though my mother swore it went both ways, which was why it was so expensive at the time), so thanks so much for the pictures!
