I've been freaking out a bit the past few days, thinking that I only had 1 RF tether point in my car (the passenger seatbelt stalk). The driver's seatbelt stalk is bolted to the driver's seat, so I can't tether to that. So I've been worried about it and re-thinking my whole plan of buying 2 new MA's at tax time.
I was thinking, well maybe I'll just use the Scenera's for Joshua (since I don't have a 2nd RF tether point) until Pacey outgrows the Marathon and Decathlon RF. Then move Joshua into the RF Marathong and Decathlon and get Pacey 2 Regents. The thought of having to use the Scenera's full time just wasn't appealing to me at all. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing "wrong" with them...I'm just used to Britax's and that's what I prefer 100% over anything else...plus I LOVE being able to tether RF.
So anyway, I just went out to my car to look under my seat again and I found a solid metal bar that doesn't move at all and would be a perfect tether point!! That made my day...as sad as that is...it made my day!
I am hoping there is one under the passenger seat as well, but if not, it's no big deal to just tether to the seatbelt stalk on that side.
Okay, I'm done now...just wanted to share my joy and say that I'm back to my regular plan of buying 2 new MA's at tax time!
