I saw this seat for sale on Costco.com for $257.99 and it seems to be a lot cheaper than other sites (maybe even cheaper if I pricematch at diapers.com and use a coupon!). Does anyone have any personal experience with this seat? Is the swivel feature really 'all that'? Seems like a nice feature in theory as we often hit dds head getting her in and out of her seat! Dd is 17 month and about 25ish pounds and we drive a Carolla. We're planning for baby #2 to be here this time next year so it would need to fit in the back with an infant seat. So, do you like it, not like it??? Thanks!:)

It has only a 33 pound rear facing limit. I would not spend money on it for that reason. You want a seat with a tall shell and a 35-45 pound rear facing limit :)

I think this seat would mean more to you if you'd got it quite a while ago. You'll want a seat that will allow you to RF for more than 33 pounds. I think this would work best if you used it while teaching her to climb into her own seat or something...

But really for a convertible seat in the US it has the lowest RF limit out there.

We had a model at a tech dinner a few weeks ago. Every person in the room was a tech, and we're all passionate about carseats, not like random firemen in the room. One of the people there writes for Safe Ride News, another helped put together the LATCH manual. And NONE of us could figure out how we would install this seat. Even with the manual there. Maybe the lockoff was broken, I don't know. But the consensus was that for a 33 pound rear facing seat for $330 (original price) it just wasn't worth it. We were very disappointed.

The swivel feature is cool, it's well padded, but it's an asinine installation, and confusing enough that a room of techs weren't certain what was happening.
