Radian and safe stop ?????

Does it need to be on for a tether AND latch ff install?

I am confused as it says use only with tether OR latch and no other configuration.

That's one thing I hate about the Radian! I think the safe stop is too confusing!! I have to read and re-read the manual anytime I'm re-installing. :rolleyes:

You should always use the Safe Stop with a child under 40 lbs. if the seat is FF and tethered. So, with a child under 40 lbs., -

FF + seatbelt + tether = Safe Stop.
FF + LATCH (incl. tether) = Safe Stop.
FF + seatbelt only = no Safe Stop.

OK that makes it clearer to me......(since if we do have to install it FF'ing, it would be seatbelt + tether :thumbsup:)
