Radian 65 Question

Hi!

A friend of mine is giving me her Radian 65 to use for DS since we are still short one seat. He is FF now and has been for a little while when he got too heavy to RF in our MAs. Would you feel comfortable putting your child FF if RF was not an option in a Radian? I am a bit nervous about the lack of any sides on the seat, but he would be in the center of back seat.

Any insight?

Thanks.

BTW - DS is almost 2.5 38 inches about 33lbs.

Sure. Any five point harness offers a lot of SIP. In fact, my daughter has ridden in a Radian forward facing a lot.

Remember that Radians after 9/08 have a 40 pound rear facing limit. Otherwise check the sticker and date.

I have no problems at all using mine FF in any position in my car or van. It's sturdy and the sides are plenty deep for SIP, IMO.

that is the only seat I have and only one I use. Just make sure you put the safe stop on because he is under 40lbs. Also tether it, I just am more comfortable with it top tethered
