I really want it but only have an XT to trade. I have a gigantic almost 3 year-old and I'm not a Britax fan so the regent is out for me. Let me know if you get desperate--maybe we can work something out.

I was wondering since you still have this seat, do you think you could gather some measurements for me from the safeguard seat. We are trying to develop a spreadsheet containing measurements/info on a variety of seats, and the safeguard seat is one seat we are still missing data on. If you think you can do this, here is a link to the post where I talk about what data we are collecting and how to submit it.

Carseatblog did a really nice review on it, this is a *fantastic* price for this seat, it's like the Cadillac (Mercedes, whatever, name your favorite luxury brand, lol) of car seats. http://carseatblog.com/?p=901

How does this intall with the seatbelt? Pretty easy? My daycare's van does not have LATCH but does have a tether. Need to switch Avery out of his MA soon. Or maybe put the FN in daycare's van and use the safeguard in mine..... hmmmm......still open to offers?

I installed once with the seatbelt in DHs truck (no latch in his) - it was very easy - I didn't have any problems

It is a BREEZE with lap/shoulder belt-- possibly even easier than with LATCH! The high belt path can cause a little tightening difficulty with a manual lap-only belt but with lap/shoulder the lockoffs are fantastic. I literally put it in my mom's car with the lap/shoulder belt and tether in about 20 seconds.

Have you tried craigslist? I know it seems like a long shot, but I sold mine that way. I listed it a couple times figuring maybe it would pique someone's interest. One day I got an email from a woman about an hour away from me who was like, "Do you still have it??? I have money. Can I come pick it up today????"

Turns out she had one for her son and now wanted one for her daughter, but she couldn't find them anymore. She had been scouring craigslist around the country, and the only one she had been able to find was in New York.

She said she would have paid me twice what I was asking. doh

Anyway, it's a long shot that anyone on CL would know or be looking for this seat, but who knows.
