SOLD! Safeguard child seat and Britax Marathon

SOLD!

Safeguard: It has the tan cover, original box, manual and DVD I believe - I am on the east coast and it is a heavy seat so I am not sure how much shipping will be - Has been in my car and DHs truck for about a year - but only rode in maybe 20-25 times - We don't use my car alot. DOM 11/12/2007, 7 year expiration

$130 + shipping

I'm not familiar with these seats.

When does it expire? What is the top harness hight. Is it a wide seat? Does it need tether after a certain weight? Will it turn into a booster?

It does not turn into a booster. the top harness slot is 19.5". It is not very wide - I would say same as the marathon. The top tether should be used at all weights - i will get the expiration in the morning.

Expiration is seven years from the DOM and it also has a seven-year limited warranty.

The tether SHOULD always be used, but I don't think it's required.

One very cool aspect of the seat is that it has self-ratcheting LATCH and practically installs itself (with LATCH).

Oh I love the SG. I wish all carseats are just as well made (well, w/o the retail price tag )

Don't know about comparing to the GN but it's totally narrower than the Regent/Husky. I had this installed outboard in a 2-door sport car where nothing else with same high harness slots would fit. A total thumbsup for this seat - grab it while you can
