To twist the belt or not twist it, that is the question.

I was just reading the manual for the SR35 base. In bold, page 34, it says "The seat belt should not be twisted or turned." We are taught that up to three full twists are acceptable when necessary to lower the female buckle stalk or to get a slipping lightweight locking latchplate to hold.

Thoughts?

ETA: It's also in the SR32 manual.

Twist. It's a 'lowest-common-denominator' instruction so that people don't just throw the belt in the belt path and call it a day.

If the seat needs a twist. Twist!
