Safe Van??

NEVER thought I'd say this, but we really need to get out of some expensive vehicle loans and into a different car. I'm thinking a mini-van (though I am totally not a mini-van mom :p) might be the best option, but I have no clue where to start.

Suggestions??? Here's what I have to have:

Seating for 5 kids
** Until May... 3 are mine: Frontier, RF'ing RA 50, FF'ing/RF'ing MA....... also have a RF'ing DC and a HBB
** After June: Frontier, RF'ing RA 50, SS1 & FF'ing MA + RF'ing DC on occasion

* Need to have at least TT in 4 spots, prefer LATCH too
* Super safe
* Room for stroller, kids's stuff, groceries, etc
* Safe for tons of snow; traction control or AWD

Trying to keep price low (under 10,000)

Thanks a ton!!!!

OK, so you can eliminate the Dodge Caravan/Town & Country because they only have 3 rear tether anchors
* Super safe
Eliminate the Chevy Venture
* Room for stroller, kids's stuff, groceries, etc
Eliminate any of the short wheel base minivans
* Safe for tons of snow; traction control or AWD
The *think* the only minivan that offers AWD is the Toyota Sienna but the Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona & Mazda MPV does offer traction control

Trying to keep price low (under 10,000)
OK so this will be difficult because any Odyssey or Sienna under 10K is going to have a ton of miles. So I would focus on the Kia Sedona. Try and look at the 2006 and newer models though

Thanks a ton!!!!

Best of luck and let us know how the minivan hunt goes!
