$10 free from Coinstar...

If you go to Coinstar & convert at least $40 in coins into a gift card (Amazon, iTunes, etc....go to their site to check which ones apply), Coinstar will send you another card for $10!. I'm thinking of raiding my DD's piggy bank, getting a giftcard & then getting the extra $10 & then replacing her piggy bank coins with paper money.

Anyway, if you have a jar where you're collecting coins, go ahead & score an extra ten bucks!

I know...we never pay with cash, therefore rarely have coins. But, dd had over $60 last time I counted her piggy bank. So, I'm thinking of taking the coins & cashing them in (well, I was gonna do it anyway 'cause her piggy bank is SO.DARN.HEAVY. with all those coins in it) & then replace it with a few $20 & $10 bills. The extra $10 in a certificate or gift card is just the extra incentive to get me there to do it!

Holly, you could...but you'd have to go to the bank prior to starting the transaction. Why not though? You'd get $10 out of it, so it makes sense to me. In fact, it would be easier, since you'd just have to unroll the quarters & you'd know exactly how much money you had.

How are you suppose to do it this month, and then mail it in 10 months ago? :shrug-shoulders:
