    outgrew kf30 ALREADY; what now?

My barely 5mo dd is about an inch below the top of the KF30.

    Need a new seat already.

I haven't had time to look to see what's out there.

    Any suggestions?

We have a Nautilus for 5yo DS and love how easy it is to adjust. Liked the Roundabout for that as well.

I'd like side impact as they have to be in captains chairs.

DH is 6'5" and we need all the room we can get betweent hat rearfacing seat and the front seat.

How are you measuring that inch of space above her head? Are you measuring perpendicular to the shell or parallel to the ground?

Here is a good page showing how to measure:

Thanks, I wish I were doing it incorrectly. Unfortunately, I was doing it perpendicular to the seat. She's a very very big girl (98% for height)

Maybe take a trip to BRU to try out some different seats to see how they might work in your vehicle. Maybe try the true fit, my ride, complete air, and some of the britax seats to see how much front to back room you get. With a 5 month old, you might still like more of a recline which takes up a good deal of room, but probably shortly, you could install the seat more upright which could give you a good amount of front seat room for your tall husband.

With a child that tall I would be looking at the Complete Air, the True Fit, and the Radians.
