Question Harness on nautilus?

How do you adjust the harness for height on the nautilus? Do you have to uninstall and rethread? I was thinking of getting this seat for a spare for different kids so I would need to be able to adjust for height easily. Thanks for your input.

Even though you do have to unthread and rethread to adjust, it's sooooo easy to do! It only takes a few seconds for me to do it.

What are the ages/weights of the kids needing this seat? The Evenflo Triumph Advanced has a fairly tall harness, rear faces to 35lbs, forward faces to 50lbs, and has an infinite adjust harness (just slides up and down). If any of the children should/could be rear facing this may be a bit better of an option for them.

I agree that the Triumph Advance is worth considering. Another good one would be the True Fit. The True Fit has a minimum forward-facing weight limit of 23lbs, so you must (and should!) use it rear-facing with the 15 month old. Both of these seats have a 35lb rear-facing maximum, so the 3 year old could even rear-face in it for a little while (as long as there is at least 1" of hard shell above the top of the head).

It may be legal to use a forward-facing seat for a 1 year old, however, it's not nearly as safe as continuing to keep the child rear-facing. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends keeping children rear-facing as long as possible for optimal protection, to the maximum height or weight limit of the rear-facing convertible car seat. Please let us know if you'd like more information about why rear-facing is safest, we'd be glad to help. :)
