Got our Radian 80SL today. Love the fabric, so soft and cute! You'll have to excuse my grumpy model. He is 14 months, 31" and 22 lbs.

In the house he's even with the 3rd slots:

Strap covers are thin now, not thick like they used to be:thumbsup::

My overall impression of this seat is good, but I'm not in love. I wish I could get it more upright. Even with putting my knee down onto it I still couldn't get it more upright than this. I got a great deal on it, but not sure if it's a keeper. No movement at belt path but seat is tippy at the top even with tether. Braced against front seat. Tons of leg room. I still like my MA better.

Cute! He actually has the exact same b-day as my DD2 (but my DD is already almost 28lbs ) I have a Ventrua XTSL on order, but this on is cute too so maybe I'll see if I can change it to this one.

Oh I like that one! Is tippy at the top bad? That would probably make me nervous! I keep going back and forth on this! I'm tempted to get a Radian with the SL but then I don't know if they will work in our car or how hard it would be to install and don't know if dd would be comfy in it.....I think I'll just keep her in her Blvd and TF for now....but then I'm nervous she will go over 35lbs before I'm ready to turn her! Ugh! I can never make carseat decisions!

No the tippyness isn't bad since it is tight at the belt path and that's all that matters. It's just different to me since I am so used to my MA and it's solid in every direction.

Nifty cover. It reminds me of the Coach logo on Coach handbags. ;)

Where do you attach the pillow? I know that Lizzie won't be able to use the infant pillow and the body insert but I know she'd love the body insert as a head pillow but where do I attach it??

Cool color by the way!

There are holes at the very top of the shell where the manual and emergency info tags hang. I just looped the straps thru those and tied them. The manual says just tuck them under the cover but I don't think they will stay in.

Same here; I know exactly how you feel! I miss how easily the MA installed, but this seat is better for my son so I guess I'll just have to deal. I know going into this seat that it was going to be a bear to install.

In my car the seat installs MUCH more upright in the center seat, but my only point for rear tethering is under the passenger seat :(
