CS use in Matilda (the movie)

Irony: at the beginning of the movie, where they are taking Matilda home from the hospital, it shows the infant seat just flying around the back of the station wagon, unbuckled.

But her harness is properly tightened and chest clip in the right spot

Lol! I didn't even notice the harness or the chest clip. I was too busy staring at the unsecured carseat flying all over the trunk! And the fact that they put the kid in the trunk!

Maybe the nurse did it.

I was channel surfing last night and caught a few minutes of "Knocked Up." The kids in the car seemed okay, mostly! There was a goof where the boostered kid was buckled in and then not, but it was obviously missed in post-production, because the rest of the time the belt fit pretty well. The littler one probably could have RFed but at least the Marathon(!)'s harness was used properly.

At the end, the babies harness on the keyfit is too loose though. And they aren't using the infant insert or headrest as far as I could tell.

I was thinking on Matilda all day, and realized that they must have had a CPST on staff at the hospital :)
