Have you washed the Deco pattern?

The deco cover needs a serious washin'. I'm slightly afraid to wash it though, the material looks as if it wouldn't be as soft and smooth afterwards.

Has anybody washed theirs? Did it turn out ok?

I have several Marathon covers that are plushy material. They seemed a bit stiff from being hung to dry, but once they were put back on and used a few times they were back to normal.

I have the Deco swing and the cover is the same as the car seat. I washed it on regular cycle and even threw it in the dryer and it came out great.

Alright, it's done and looks ok so far! Hopefully after a few times it gets soft and plushy again.

Now the question-- should I thread the harness through the one it really should be on? Or the incorrect one (too high) that they always have it on. I can just say I cleaned it and hope they don't bother to move the harness back up...

That's what I planned on. I hope they just don't notice. *cross fingers*

Throw it in the dryer with a damp towel for 10 minutes or so and it will fluff right up.

Another thing that will fluff it up is to brush it with a bristle hair brush. Not the plastic kind with a few bristles, but the kind with many bristles close together. I've always "brushed" my plush Marathon covers after line drying and it makes them soft again right away.
