new car considerations

We are probably going to be buying a new car this summer or fall. We are considering a Chevy Tahoe, a Toyota Sequoia, a Toyota Tundra, a Honda Pilot and a few others that we have already tried our seats in. Right now, Morgan is in a Britax BG, but I am on the lookout for something different (we hate that seat!!) and Cody is in a FF'ing Britax Wizard or MA. I have a little girl I babysit who is with me a few times a week and she will be in the MA RF'ing. I am considering a Regent for Morgan once we have a different car (it's just too big for my Durango).

For those of you who have these cars, or have tried out carseats in them:

~Which cars can I fit 3 across?

~Which can get solid installs with the carseats listed? and did you use LATCH or the seatbelt?

~If it's a car with a 3rd row, can you get a good install in the 3rd row?

~can you install a MA/Blvd/Decathalon/Wizard ect RF'ing *outboard* without it interfearing with the front seat, or at least without making you have to scoot the front seat so far forward that it's either unsafe or just plain uncomfortable to sit there?

~if you have any expiriance with any of these cars, what's your opinon on them? Do you love or hate your car? There's only so much you can get on a test drive, and there's always things I find out after we've already signed the papers, that I wish I would have known beforehand. ;)

Thanks!!!

Well I have a '05 Tahoe that I absolutly LOVE to pieces. Currently installed in it is 2 ff'ing MA but have had one of our MA's rearfacing in it. I have 2nd row caption chairs but my neighbor has a 2nd row bench.

I have had both installed with LATCH & seatbelt with no issues with install. I will say you will need to fold the headrests back to get good install on the 2nd row. It's easy to do. Just fold the seats down like you it's in the cargo carry mode and they fold back out of the way.

I have had the MA installed in the 3rd row center & outboard again no issues with install. Also had our Regent in the outboard of the 3rd row again no problems. Just used the short beltpath & recline bar with shelf gripe liner under it. I did have to twist the belt stalk 3 twists.

You can easily get 2 MA's & a Regent on the 2nd row with no problems.

Anything else you want to know about the Tahoe I will be glad to help.
